“We love you so much already Flo”

This was how Erin and Ross announced Florence’s arrival into the world. She was a “middle-of-the-night” arrival. An “eye watering 9lb 11ozs” (her Mum’s words). She is such a gorgeous baby and a total character already. Her newborn shoot was at 5 days old.

I’ve known Erin since she was in primary school. My daughter Kirstie, started a new school in primary 5 she has been best friends with Erin ever since. I’ve photographed Erin so many times over the years.  Erin came to Kirstie’s “Model Girls Photo Party” for her 11th birthday and her “St Trinians Photo Party” when she hit teenage years. (do you see a theme when your Mum is a photographer) 

Now here Erin was, all grown up, with a lovely partner and a delicious baby girl. It was a real honour to be able to take her newborn photos. Florence is such a sweetheart. She is the most adorable baby, with a wide range of expressions. One minute she looks the softest, sweetest little babe and then she scrunches up her wee face and looks so cute and funny. 

Erin is crazy about sunflowers and was desperate for a photo of Florence in her Frankie Lane sunflower swaddle wrap. Florence must love the feel of the organic cotton muslin because, after pulling a really cute funny Flo-face, she went straight to sleep.

You can’t help but see the love that Ross and Erin have for their incredible daughter. Ross is a natural Dad and Erin is already a fantastic mum. Flo you are just adorable.
