Baby Photoshoot Dundee
It’s always lovely photographing a first baby. But it’s very special when I have already photographed the couple’s wedding. I met Michelle and Adam went they commissioned me to photograph their wedding at Forbes of Kingennie. This young couple love natural photographs and decided to book me again to document their new baby girl in her first few months. She is a little sweetheart with the most fantastic hair. Caitlin has a very cheeky smile and has just started sucking her thumb. She was still working on her coordination skills so there was a lot of eye-poking going on. She was 4 months old when I photographed her at my studio. I got lots of smiles from her. Wearing nothing more than simple, white, baby-shorts, she giggled up at her Daddy and cooed at her Mummy, allowing me to create some really beautiful photos of the family. They are wonderful parents and I asked them both what being a new parent meant to them Adam just marvels at the was Michelle will do anything for her baby and he loves to see how happy they are together. Michelle was joking with me that Adam always gets the best smiles from Caitlin when he comes home from work. And he has perfected the best rocking technique to calm little Caitlin down. I am not a fan of props in baby photography and I would never put a baby in a bucket but I LOVE my seagrass changing basket. It’s from Olliella. It definitely worth investing little basket to pad it out and make it comfy for a baby. It looks great and makes for very easy nappy changing. The minute I spotted it, I had to have it for the studio.
Tummy time tired her out and she fell asleep looking like a little cherub. Totally sparked out on my beanbag, rather adorably sucking her thumb.
