Lockdown again
Waaaa!!
Who’s feeling a little bit like THIS today?
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to feel safe and to know that we were all about to be scoped up and hugged tight?
I could certainly do with a hug right now. I want to hug my Grandson and my kids and my sister and my brother’s babies and my Mum and my Father-in-law. I want to dance around hugging my friends. BUT I can’t. I just need to pull on my big girl pants and get through this.
My favourite Granny, who lived through 2 world wars, would have told me to count my blessings. So Gran, I am counting them. And so far this morning I have made quite a list.
For one it’s not as icy as it was yesterday. After a scary, skite (no, that’s not a typo) around slippery, streets, less ice is massive a bonus. I looked like Bambi on Ice as Hugo raced along pulling me behind him on his extending lead.
The days are getting longer. There’s an extra 127 seconds of daylight every day from now until the summer solstice. Daylight is a gift!
My organic veg order will be arriving tomorrow. Think of all those vitamins and minerals!
I have the remnants of a bottle of Chablis in the fridge. (I doubt that will last past tonight)
Now add on to that my lovely supportive clients, helpful peers, and a wonderful family. I am incredibly fortunate. If Granny were around today she’d probably be a mindset guru. She’d have her own blog and podcast teaching people to cope with life. She was a fabulous cook so no doubt her own recipe book would follow.
I’ll brew a large pot of coffee, and update my website. There’s more than a few babies that haven’t featured on my blog yet and I’m bursting with ideas of things to write about.
There I feel better now. Keep safe everyone.
My darling little studio will now be closed until the 2nd of February 2021. I would just love it of you could still all find the time to support me on social media and check in to my blog. I will try to add some interesting musings to keep you all amused.
